Christian artist and songwriter Howard Gripp is set to release his second single, “Everything In His Name,” on Friday, May 23, 2025, through NRT Music. Featuring worship leader Erin Oakley, the song is a bold and moving duet that testifies to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. The track is part of Gripp’s upcoming EP, slated for release this fall, and continues his mission to share stories of redemption and hope through authentic worship.

In addition to the single release, Gripp is thrilled to announce a brand-new live show experience for 2025. For the first time, he’ll be backed by a full band for most of his performances, and the energy they bring is undeniable. “I’m so excited to announce that I have a full band backing me for most of my shows in 2025 — and they are incredible,” Gripp shares. “We’ve already played a couple of shows together, and we’re gearing up for the I Can Feel The Change Summer Festival Tour, kicking off Sunday, May 25 at BratFest, where we’ll be opening for Danny Gokey!”
The band, called The Mission, was formed around a shared passion: spreading God’s Word, one song at a time. The lineup includes Kathy Hammond on keys/vocals, John Hammond on guitar/vocals, Jon Vander Heyden on bass, Adam Dorn on drums, Barry Sasse on lead/rhythm guitar, and additional musicians joining along the way throughout the summer. Whether Gripp takes the stage solo or with The Mission behind him, audiences can expect a heartfelt, Spirit-led performance that points every note back to Christ.
Gripp’s momentum continues to build in 2025, with recent recognition across the Christian music scene. He was awarded Best Christian Vocal Performance and Best Christian Album for Rescued Redeemed Forgiven by the Rampage Music Awards, and his acoustic track “He Rescued Me” was named Best Christian Song of the Year by the Indie Songwriting Awards. He was also honored to be a finalist in four categories at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards, marking his first appearance at the prestigious event.
