The song traces a personal journey from abandonment, brokenness, and spiritual darkness into the light, hope, and freedom found in Him. The chorus celebrates the miracle of salvation–God’s grace that transforms lives and sets people free–while the bridge, inspired by the timeless hymn “Blessed Assurance,” grounds the song in worship tradition and offers a fresh expression of faith.
