Kalamazoo, MI – November 19, 2025 – At just 15 years old, Michigan-based worship artist Josh Grove is already making an impact with his heartfelt songwriting and pure passion for Jesus. His new single, “A Mighty Thanks,” is a moving anthem of gratitude that celebrates God’s faithfulness in every season of life.
Written by Grove and produced by Eric Haley, “A Mighty Thanks” was born from a desire to thank God for all He has done and continues to do, offering praise through both joy and hardship. The song’s title draws from a beloved phrase Grove’s late grandfather would often say when expressing joy–”Mighty fine.” His grandfather, inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996, spent decades leading a Gospel Bluegrass group as its singer and banjo player. The song serves as both a tribute to him and a declaration of faith to the God who gives every good thing.
Anchored in 1 Thessalonians 5:18–“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”–the single invites listeners to adopt a posture of gratitude no matter what life brings. Through stirring vocals and an uplifting melody, Grove’s message is clear: even when words fail, worship remains.
Josh Grove is a 15-year-old Christian singer/songwriter with a heart for worship and a passion for pointing others to Jesus through music. From an early age, he has loved singing and praising God. Josh serves at his home church by leading worship on the youth team, playing guitar, and volunteering in kids ministry. Actively involved in his youth group, he is committed to growing in both his faith and his musical gifts. In his young career, Josh has released three songs–”One True Savior,” “Holy Flame,” and “God Uses Scars“–which together have surpassed 30,000 streams on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon. Earlier this year, “Holy Flame” earned him a finalist spot in the Unsigned Only Music Awards, signaling the start of a promising journey in Christian music.
