Tulsa, OK – January 2, 2026 – NRT Music announces the release of “Cult Leader (J. Wisdom Techno Swing Remix)” from XIII Minutes, available now. The remix delivers a bold new take on the band’s 2024 single, blending industrial edge, techno swing energy, and alternative metal intensity while preserving the song’s confrontational message. With driving rhythms and a fresh sonic framework, the remix expands the reach of “Cult Leader” into new spaces without losing its bite.

Originally written as an observational critique of today’s media-saturated culture, “Cult Leader” confronts a world where everyone is demanding attention, loyalty, and influence. The song challenges listeners to pause and question who–and what–they are choosing to follow, asking whether blind allegiance comes at a greater cost than we realize. Jason Wisdom’s remix amplifies that tension, giving the track a darker, more kinetic pulse that heightens its urgency.

The release follows major milestones for XIII Minutes at radio, with “Fake” debuting at #1 on the Metal/Loud chart for the week of December 10, according to Christian Music Weekly (CMW), and currently holding the top of that chart three weeks later. Their 2025 single, “Fake,” is also climbing the CMW Rock chart, cracking the Top 15 for the first time this week. End-of-year charts have also been kind to XIII Minutes, where “Stay” is at the top of Rock4Him‘s Best of 2025 chart, and the band logged three songs in CMW’s Top 100 Rock Songs of 2025. Combined, the chart positioning underscores the band’s growing momentum and signals a powerful new chapter since signing with NRT Music.

XIII Minutes is an American alternative metal band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, formed in late 2015. The current lineup features Jerrod Cunningham on lead vocals, Thomas Wheat on guitar and backing vocals, and Jamie Kucinski on drums. The band released their album Obsessed in 2019 to strong reviews before taking a brief hiatus. Returning in 2022 with renewed focus and intensity, XIII Minutes has continued to build a reputation for hard-hitting music that pairs sonic aggression with thoughtful, challenging themes.

Cult Leader (J. Wisdom Techno Swing Remix)” was arranged and composed by XIII Minutes, written by Thomas Wheat and Jamie Kucinski, and remixed and produced by Jason Wisdom. It’s available now wherever fans stream Christian rock.
