Written by Dacey Lane, Noah Priebe, Ethan Daniels, and Brooklyn Summer, the song is a powerful reflection on the paradox of Christ as both mighty King and intimate Friend.
The song follows the band’s August 2025 debut single, “All Or Nothing” which is approaching 10,000 streams across all platforms.
“What Kind of Friend?” carries listeners through lyrics that express awe, gratitude, and testimony. With Lane’s heartfelt vocal delivery leading the way, the song marvels at the Savior who calls us His own, walks with us through fire, washes us clean, and secures our redemption.
