Reading, PA – July 9, 2025 – Mr. Weaverface returns with a bold and commanding new single, “River of Jordan,” releasing this Friday, July 11, via NRT Music. The track features sweeping vocals, hard-hitting drums, and heavy post-grunge guitar tones that call to mind 90s alt-rock legends like Foo Fighters and Stone Temple Pilots—all while delivering a deeply spiritual message.

Written and produced by Brendon Weaver and recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jonathan Sambrick at Thornwall Studios, “River of Jordan” draws inspiration from the biblical moment when John the Baptist baptized Jesus. The song serves as both a prophetic declaration and a personal testimony, urging listeners to repent, be baptized, and step into the power and freedom that comes through Jesus Christ. Its anthemic refrain—“Come on down to the River of Jordan, wash yourself and repent of your sin”—captures the song’s invitation to encounter transformation at the water’s edge.

Known for his fusion of spiritual warfare themes with raw rock energy, Mr. Weaverface continues to make waves in the Christian rock scene. His previous singles “O God, Help Me” and “Above All Names” both landed in the Top 10 on the Christian Music Weekly Rock Charts, and he was the only artist to place three songs on WJTL’s Some Sort of Rock Show Top 60 of 2024. Beyond the studio and stage, Mr. Weaverface has served as a worship leader for over 15 years and currently practices full-time optometry at his family-owned clinic in Pennsylvania.

“River of Jordan” is a fiery call to the faithful and the searching alike—an altar invitation wrapped in roaring guitars and rooted in Scripture. Stream it everywhere you listen to music starting this Friday, July 11.
