Nashville, TN – June 20, 2025 – Poplarville-native turned Nashville storyteller Niki Lou Savich returns with a nostalgic, heartwarming new single, “Hills of Harrisburg,” available now from NRT Music. The upbeat track marks the first release from her forthcoming sophomore album, slated to arrive in early 2026.
Written by Savich and produced alongside legendary musician and arranger Gordon Mote, “Hills of Harrisburg” is a musical joyride through childhood memories and small-town Americana. With its feel-good melody and evocative lyrics, the song invites listeners into the backseat of a family car, windows down, radio up, and laughter echoing through the winding country roads of Missouri.
“This song is a love letter to simpler times,” says Niki Lou. “It’s about holding on to the memories that shaped you—and finding pieces of home no matter how far you’ve traveled.”
“Hills of Harrisburg” follows her debut album Million Tears (October 11, 2024), which offered a deeply personal reflection on caregiving, loss, and faith. That project—also produced by Mote—introduced Niki Lou’s signature blend of bluegrass, gospel, folk, and Americana, wrapped in poetic lyricism shaped by her life experiences, from modeling and natural therapeutics to her time as a caregiver.
Niki Lou once again teams up with Gordon Mote for her upcoming 2026 release, promising another collection of honest, roots-inspired storytelling and incredible musicianship that connects across generations. More singles from the new album will be released throughout the year.
