Written by Lauren Lanier, John Chisum, and Phoebe Scott, “Mercy Multiplied” is a heartfelt reflection on the unearned grace of God–His kindness that overflows far beyond what we deserve. The song’s tender melody and moving lyrics invite worshippers to rest in the truth that God’s mercy meets every need.
The chorus declares: “Wonderful Father, gracious provider / Lavishly giving to me / Every blessing like oil overflowing / Pouring out more than I need / I’m treasured in Your eyes / That’s mercy multiplied.”
“Mercy Multiplied” captures the wonder of a God who loves unconditionally and provides abundantly. Inspired by the lyric “a seat at the table just because I believe,” the song paints a picture of divine generosity–a God who welcomes His children not by their works, but by His grace alone.
“This song is about God’s grace–love we can’t earn but freely receive,” shares the Ezra Worship team. “We recorded it because people need this truth: God is a good Father, faithful in every season, giving more than we need.
